I read articles on the net about the Sanders campaign that show me how many people completely misunderstand the man, his ideas and his purpose. Bernie doesn't want wealth or power for himself. In that respect, he's cast more in the mold of Gandhi or Mandela. If truth be told, he can do more good for America and it's people by leading his movement from Congress than he could possibly do as president. And especially with Congress now infested with Republicans.
I wasn't sure if infested was the right word until I looked it up. It means the state of being invaded or overrun by pests or parasites. Turns out it's exactly the correct word in this context.
