After Trump; Who?

Day by day it seems less likely that Donald Trump will last another four months on the national stage.  Too many revelations, too many questions, too much pressure.  Chances are November will find him in jail or a nice pleasant sanitarium where he can enjoy some needed rest after an intervention by either his family or by the Republican party.

So in any event, someone will run for president.  Probably chosen by his former colleagues.  I can't believe there are very many who will look at the former riders of the Republican campaign clown car.  My suggestion is they contact Hollywood casting agencies and look for a charismatic grade B actor.  After all, it worked in the 1980's.  It might again. Their voters don't have much of a memory.

There are red state unemployment departments for people who don't toe the official line and seem to end up under busses.  The intelligence level of these types are usually above average especially among those who converted to Independents or worse; Democrats.

And last, worldwide there are some deposed dictators looking for leaderless countries.  Any one of them would fit into the Republican agenda if their constituents didn't ask too many questions.  Fortunately, Hillary Clinton probably will do that.  Republicans might decide Trump wasn't so bad after all when done checking alternatives.
